The shape of this handful of artifacts is reminiscent of Haman's taschen (popular desert of Purim). The opening at the top is in the shape of the Star of David, which is really brought to life by the flame of the lit candle, then manifested in all its splendor. In complete darkness, light shines through the transparent, solidly fired porcelain's wall. It stands on tiny legs decorated with porcelain paint, which on the one hand emphasize the cult character of the object and on the other hand prevent the furniture around it from overheating.
